Not Vietnam

Groggy after a bad night’s sleep, I’m talking with Gaspar in Budapest first thing. Then it’s business as usual until early afternoon.

Drive to Carline, train to Central, walk to Collabor8te. A couple of hours of desk activity before taking the subway to Hillhead where I meet the family at the Hanoi Bicycle Club. Obviously a hip place, which fills quickly. The food is good without being particularly memorable.

Megan’s looking very chic and content. Angus is happy and relaxed, planning to spend much of the next three weeks on his own in a caravan, planting trees by day.

Goodbyes are said and Claire drives me to pick up my car, before we head home in convoy.
