Contemplative Prayer

Started a monthly thing off tonight at church where we are being guided/taught some contemplative prayer exercises by two ladies (one is the chaplain in our local hospital).

We were all surprised when about 40 people turned up! And had to cram in chairs (you can’t see the two rows at my end). As Madeleine said “do you think God might be saying something about what people are needing in our church?”

Seemed to go well - and Hélène’s cakes definitely did!
