Another sunny winter's day...

after an overnight frost and a light snow shower, shown here where the iced loch edge is whitened. There were Wrens and Crossbills on this walk, sheltering in the woodland. This is a good area in winter for birdlife, plenty of cover and some food.
There is a good track in, if icy today and wet in summer, as it was one of the Wade military roads of the eighteenth century.
