Snowy Soap Day

With 15cm snow blanketing much of the country my big buyer meeting in London has been postponed until next week meaning a bonus day housebound as the village is cut off (bliss!)

Wimped out of making in the workshop & instead had hauled all the oils over into the main kitchen last night before the snow started...

Log burner, Desert Island Disc podcast catchup and lots of snow outside the door to help cool the oils & lye. A yield of six batches (Rose Geranium, 2x Gardeners, Little Beast Pet Shampoo bar and a Lavender & Orange. That's a bonus 300 bars for stock when they get chopped up in next day or so & put to cure for a month....
