Hooker Valley & Mount Cook

Mario and I went to Mount Cook today, and walked the Hooker Valley track, which takes you to the glacier-fed Hooker Lake (complete with icebergs!), and a spectacular view of Mount Cook.
The weather was perfect, and it was 25 degrees Celsius.
The extra photos show a view of Mount Cook from the track, and Mario walking on the track.

After the walk, we had lunch at a cafe in the village, a quick browse in the gift shop, then we headed home.
We stopped at the NZ Alpine lavender farm, which isn't too far from Mount Cook village, and Mario got a Lavender icecream.
It was a very enjoyable day.
