Thumbs up

Last night I had a great evening at Stoke on Trent where the band played for a morris team's after wassail ceilidh.  It was a sell out and lovely to see a packed hall of dancers including lots of young people. The home made soup was gratefully received too.

The caller (who is in the picture) is a tremendous character. I caught her when she'd succesfully given a bit of extra help to a set of dancers. 

It was getting on for 2.00am when I got to bed as Stoke is quite a distance from here but well worth it as it was a super night. They want us back to do another ceilidh later in the year which is always a bonus.
