Normanton Church

Had a very nice Saturday off.
Went to Oakham for a coffee, wander and lunch then off to nearby Rutland Water.
It was a beautiful crisp, sunny winter’s day.
This church is at the edge of the south shore and was once the church linked to a big old house which was located in what is now the reservoir. The House was already derelict before the valley was flooded.
The dimensions of this building are odd. We wonder if there is a lower level which is submerged.
Nice place a walk.
