Wall to wall

Wall to wall sunshine today and a good heavy frost to start the day (and end it in our garden as the sun doesn't reach quite a few parts on the north side)  Needless to say the birds are in hungry mode and l noticed two jackdaws trying to feed off the peanut feeder.. they are surprisingly nimble at hanging on and retreiving the nuts for such large birds.  The extra l couldn't resist as it is a rather wonderful shape in the early morning light.  
My favourite is the main blip however.   I love watching the birds from the kitchen when l am boiling up my marmalade.. a nice batch about ready to pot up now.
