Emptiness of the Common

This is one of my favorite landscape photos to date, with the falling snow adding a grainy effect to the image.

Yate common is typically covered with dog walkers or people just enjoying a stroll. However, after the recent weather it looks like a snow covered wasteland, with the exception of a lone tree and some houses in the far distance.

Also if you look carefully you will notice a solitary bird at the top of the tree, which I think highlights the emptiness of the common.
