Peace Like a River

Today the walking group parked at The Outlet and walked from there down the Clutha River to Albert Town, where we had our lunch.  The extras are:  Little 'h' counting up the number of cyclists we passed (79), little 'h' walking through a field of gold, and the view from our lunch spot.  It was very hot +29C.

We had a nice ice cream from a local cafe before heading for home and are now sitting in front of the aircon!!

On a sad note, my brother passed away this morning, so not sure what my moves will be over the next few days.  He lived in Raglan in the North Island.  He was 80.
