Moss to the left

… well I couldn't think of a better title for today's blip. If I think of one, I may return later to rename it.

I was fascinated by this tree which appears to have a luscious mossy coating on its bark just up one side. The moss is to the side which normally faces away from the sun, so I suspect it is the side where the bark remains damp and doesn't dry out so much. Everything looks so much more interesting in bright sunlight.
