Squirrel Watercolor

I painted this watercolor some years ago and considered it a failure. Recently I was sharing my pile of failure watercolors with my granddaughter. She liked things that I really was not seeing anymore because as the creator of this watercolor, I couldn’t see the forest for the trees. She taught me a valuable lesson and perhaps in the future, I will be less hard on myself. One can always hope!
