The Bay

Pettycur Bay lies between Kinghorn and Burntisland on the north side of the Firth of Forth.  This area is also known as 'Black Rock Sands', the rocky outcrop in the top-left being  'Black Rock'.

I rescued this from two images taken this afternoon - both of which are included as 'Extras'. It just goes to show what can be done on the computer to produce something worthwhile from dull and uninteresting images.

The three Forth bridges can be seen in the distance.

It was threatening to rain all afternoon but never came to anything.
