New year, new beginnings

I have owned the Nikon 105mm f2.8 micro lens for some years now and rarely used it. So little that I have been considering selling it but, before I do I thought I should see what can be achieved with it.

Here is my first attempt at macro photography, expect to be bored (possibly enthralled?) with many more this year. I've really enjoyed using it today.
