Alternate photo

I had taken a photo of a rather stunning synagogue here in Düsseldorf. I didn’t think ANYTHING about it. I take photos of religious places all the time. It’s common street photography. Especially exterior shots.

What I didn’t notice was there was a police van close by. After a short and friendly conversation with two very kind officers, I ended up deleting the photo and apologizing. (And gushing over the building - understated but really rather stunning)

Just the sort of thing that happens when you’re an expat I guess.

And instead you get a church. (Shrugs)
