That's Really Blue

Suzanne and I had another adventure with our cameras this morning.  We've been talking about heading into DC for sunrise, since we haven't had much luck with wildlife lately, and the sunrise isn't painfully early.  Instead, the temperature was painfully low.  We've gotten good at bundling up so we decided today was the day.  The sky didn't get as colorful as we would have liked, and there were no clouds, but it was still lots of fun.  For this shot  of the Lincoln Memorial the sky was a crazy color blue.  No saturation adjustment was needed.  President Lincoln can be seen through the columns.  In extras, I was lucky to get a shot of the Washington Monument before they turned out the lights (we need to go earlier next time), and we were able to get the monument reflection in the Vietnam Memorial Wall.  I didn't realize at the time how clear the soldiers' names on the wall would be in the photo.
