Line 1: Off of the roof and into the air,
Line 2: 
a. with nary a worry and nary a care.
b. flying to heaven on a wing and a prayer.
c. with a little panache...a little flair.
d. entering the birdie thoroughfare.
e. leaving the docks on the way to their lair.
