Gratitude Project Day 22

Today I am grateful for my binoculars, which I did NOT have with me on my afternoon walk! In this photo is a bird I have not seen before. All I could see, against the sky, was that it had a black face and was white from the eye all the way down it’s chest. It was calling beautifully and then was joined by it’s partner. If I’d have had my binoculars I would probably have had a lifer. But it was not to be.
