Angel wing.

This Egyptian Goose is one of last year's goslings. He ( I think he is a he?!) developed this malformed wing from an early age. He swims and runs but never flies obviously., but has thrived otherwise. He is a very friendly little goose, greeting me daily and has attitude! I always thought he was injured but now know he has a condition known as Angel Wing.
"Angel wing is occasionally observed in waterfowl residing near humans, (including domestic fowl), and the disease can sometimes be observed in areas where geese or ducks are excessively fed bread"
As he loves the swan and duck food I bring for  the waterfowl I am relieved to read that it is good for them!
