He's been scouring the internet & has come up with suppliers & apparently the best deals are to be found in Russia & the USA.

He has a neat gadget which tests these wee beasties & when he finds a decent product, he buys big time.

Apparently you should never try buying transistors from Britain - you'll end up paying five times too much for crap...
