Wound up in Wexford

Dinner

First session at the gym today after more than 7 weeks off.  The aqua session was quite hard on the wrist - especially pulling floats in the form of dumb bells through the water.

Then a leisurely afternoon, with more "physio" to the wrist playing the flute, and then this evening, sewing.  Helped by analgesia in the form of red wine.

The potatoes are our take on Canarian potatoes.  "Proper" Canarian potatoes should be cooked in really salty water (originally they were cooked in sea water, which is rather more readily available that fresh water on the isles) which makes them taste quite salty, and wrinkles the skins.  We prefer our potatoes less salty.  But we liberally dosed them with Mojo Rojo (spicy red sauce).

The wine is from our friends in the Netherlands - thank you B and M, very tasty - there's still some left for tomorrow evening.
