Shower

The weather was generally overcast near the hut so we decided to head a little north where it looked to be a little brighter. The higher hills were once again in the cloud but the area around Carrbridge seemed an oasis of brighter weather. We decided to go up the Graham of Carn Glas-choire and set off up an estate track that took us to quite close to the top. The terrain from there to the summit was quite unusual with large areas of lichen that was really slippery underfoot as it was really boggy. We decided to go back a different way by going east to another track as a variation. There was more lichen but better views as the cloud broke up a little on the higher hills and the extra is the view over to the Cairngorms. It turned a little drizzly but there was still breaks in the cloud so my blip is looking south towards the Monadhliath with a shower lit up by the sun. It’s best to look large.
