Hibiscus

We have a hedge of native hibiscus. (This is not the emerald green leaf with bright yellow or red flowers variety .)
Rather it has dark green leaves with fairly dull yellow flowers that only last a day ...but is a fast grower and we are using it as a hedge between our neighbours. They are lovely people, but I am not so keen as having them watch me eat breakfast.
The flowers fall off as soon as the sun starts to set and the ground is littered with these blooms. Only today did I notice how attractive the back of they flower is. Hence today’s Blip.
