Blue skies and snow

Well after last night's snow, this morning looked ominous, with grey looming clouds... so I cancelled my crafternoon with the girls as I didn't fancy driving... but mid afternoon it looked like this... so we quickly headed down to the beach for a bit of air... and had the place almost to ourselves... but we then got caught in another big snow shower on the way back, nearly resulting in soggy cake ...

So instead I've spent the afternoon making patterns for the costumes that I'm making and also playing with food dye... not sure if my scheme will work out, but my right hand is now a strange shade of greenish blue and looks like it's about to fall off....
