Post Haste

A dash to Stromness first thing to take delivery of my Mum’s new chair.  A further dash to Hoy.  Then across to the Merkister for lunch.  They’ve gone and spoiled things by introducing a January offer which takes 30% off the bill, and the mannie even stamped CMCs loyalty card.  Great quality / value grub.  Anyone called Prentice residing near Howe would be mad not to check this out.  I’d even meet them there and curate the menu.  CMC couldn’t wait to get home and christen her new chair.  I had my friend Mr Riach with me.  The sky rolls ever on over the isles.

Travelling to the beach didn’t bring an end to Celia’s bouts of hilarity.
