The Rookery: Beads on Leaves

Softer and sharper in large.

My mother and I met a friend and her young baby at The Rookery in the dark and slightly drizzly early afternoon. We had a stroll around the gardens, then retreated to the cafe for infusions (and a snooze).
I thought that I'd be photographing the crocuses and snowdrops, but they were looking a bit sad in the darkness and rain, so I looked for more seasonal subjects.
