Good friends

What a week. After starting a countdown of blips to the day I finish working my notice, it was abruptly ended when my boss decided I shouldn't go back with 2 weeks left.

Whatever happened to a handshake, maybe a few drinks, a goodbye and all the best.

This industry sucks at times.

Good friends have stood out for me this week particularly. I am lucky. Great afternoon with one of them today. Went to see his new house. Watched a film, had a takeaway and my first Butterscotch latte.
Mmm.
