Grey, Green and Brown

Thanks in the main due to the malingering malaise, today's was the first ride out I've taken since 4th Jan. An enjoyable 23 miles around North East Essex with signs of green shoots in the fields but a very grey one weather-wise. Picturned is the church at Little Bromley, not far from home on my return. Not so visible is the farmers work which seems to have involved spending the last couple of weeks spreading as much of their field contents onto the lanes as possible, so the bike needed a good hosing down afterwards!

In other news, Master H has come home from school with the significant accolade of 'achiever of the week" for being extremely trustworthy and motivated with his learning. We'll done!
