Catkins

This rather spectacular thing has happened in our garden.  I'm not sure what shrub it is and I can't remember having ever noticed it before (but it's only  recently that I have actually paid attention what goes on), and Nick has been doing pruning etc.

It is rather splendid and I'm really enjoying the display.
