Winter Scene: A Study in Blue, White, and Gold

My husband and I decided it was time to go to lunch at Duffy's in Boalsburg, and so we did. For once, we didn't run any additional errands in town, but we did stop for a little walk in the snow at Fairbrook Park, on Tadpole Road.

There are usually golden corn rows in this field, but they are gone now. Instead, we have a quintessential winter scene: golden cornstalk remnants, blue mountains, and white snow.

The song has a title that's close enough for government work (as people say): Bad Company, with Silver, Blue, and Gold.
