Exhibition

That main highlight of being on Blipfoto is meeting Blippers in person. Meet Raheny_Eye at 11.00 for a swim in the Forty Foot and then off to Raheny_Eye’s exhibition to meet HasItsCloud and Cheeryoscuro. They had travelled up from Cork. The thing about the exhibition is that every time you look at one his photos you see something new in it. When we talk about photography we can look for the perfect composition or pin accurate focus but this exhibition has the one ingredient that makes it a success. That is that people especially local people can relate to the photographs. It contains images of people known and unknown in the familiar surroundings of Dun Laoghaire. Where people cannot relate to the person they can relate to the setting.
After looking at the exhibition the four of us went off for a coffee in Harry’s Café. We talked about photography and of Blipfoto and how it opened up photographic and friendship opportunities for each of us. Looking forward to meeting HasItsCloud and Cheeryoscuro in the near future either in Clonakilty or Dublin. In the meantime safe journey home to both of them.
