Jubilee

I thought that I would not have to go to Groningen so soon again, but my sister-in-law thought that we had to celebrate Bert's father's 100-year birthday. And there we went again. We jumped on the train and headed up north. 
It has been a pleasant get-together. A birthday party without a birthday boy.

Tonight we ate pizza in the restaurant where Bert and I had our first date. It used to be our favourite Italian restaurant and it still is a nice place. The staff is still very nice, but we missed the owner welcoming us cheerfully while giving me a hand kiss. And there was no Ciao when we left.

The next anniversary year is that we have been living in Limburg for 25 years on 1 May 2020.
