Big Garden Birdwatch

RSPB big garden birdwatch today. I don't have a garden but there is a bit of green space out the back of my flat and my neighbour's bird feeder. Most of the birds I normally see around seemed to vanish during the hour of my birdwatch and it was surprisingly quiet. But I did get excited when four goldfinches briefly landed. They're not birds I usually see around here, so it was an unusual sighting. All in all, a very pleasant way to spend an hour of my morning. Even if many of the birds did seem to go into hiding!
