As promised, I am telling what this actually is. Guesses consisted of toilet seat, mega phone made from fabric, birds eye view of a lamp shade, among other things. It's actually the a section of the huge speakers in my living room that I replaced the fabric on so that I could take the dust covers off the speakers and have them look pretty.
