Feline Face to Face

Today was the first (planned, in the same room) face to face for Isla and Harris. We knew Isla wouldn't be happy, so the hissing and growling was expected. But she wasn't immediately running out of her cat flap, seemingly content (albeit with a constant low level grumble) to watch him. 

For his part Harris follows her wherever she goes, usually keeping a respectful distance, and turning round and leaving the vicinity when she hisses at him. He got a couple of whacks when he got a bit too bold and too close, but again that was expected.

Really nice to be able to let him out of the spare room for most of the day though (we gave Isla a couple of hours respite a couple of times) and he got through the night on his own without mishap or middle of the night crying as well.
