After lunch I took myself off to Glasgow for the ice hockey at 4:30pm, stopping in the city for a quick coffee.
The game was close - 3-2 for Glasgow Clan over Fife Flyers. Both teams had lost their previous 5 games and Flyers were bottom of the league. They still are, obviously.
In fact they started quite well, and then began to play like a bottom-of-the-table team which had lost its last 5 games.
I can never decide if I like going to ice hockey in Glasgow. The arena is pleasant and modern, but some of the fans are the kind of people who ruin a trip to the cinema by the way they behave.
Today was slightly worse, as someone sitting close to me had not washed for quite a while… or had died.
