From the Parking Lot

Dear Diary,

Before I got my little pocket Canon, I would have missed this shot.  I rarely carried my big, heavy Nikon for routine runs to the store.  I loved the contrasts in this view from the parking lot; the green lights, the interesting tree branches and the amazing variations in the sky.  I was the only one in the lot standing, gawking at the scene.  That's what photography does to you.  It makes you hyper aware of everything around you; even the smallest details like why is one light red and the other two green?  Hmmm....
