1733

An excellent collection of symbols of immortality ( the winged soul at the top) and immortality on a gravestone dated 1733 in Old Deer Kirkyard. The symbols of mortality are the Momento Mori banner, the hour glass, coffin, deid Bell and gravediggers' tools flanking the skull and crossed long bones. A clear message for a largely ore literate age.

The extra is the Kirkyard.
