Cold Cathode Comfort (MM314)

Lacking in inspiration today so my blip is a very simple take on the theme for mono Monday. Glow rhymes with slow, so this is the glow of a cold cathode torch we used to use years back for camping.  Almost entirely replaced by LED lights now for small continuous light the Xenon types are still used in camera flashes where the lack of a need for heat and virtually instantaneous start up are just what is needed.

Thanks to Laurie54 for hosting the challenge.

Thanks also to everyone who commented on and awarded my squabbling greenfinches from yesterday. It was one of around 500 images and the only one where there was movement and all of the action was within the frame.
