Chilly in St. Andrews

The final excursion for our visitors was a drive out to St.Andrews. Despite my assertion that it doesn't matter what time of the year you visit Scotland (the weather could be good or bad in August), mid-January perhaps is not the ideal time for strolling around towns and visiting beaches.

The block from the car to the cafe was an epic adventure with everybody bundled in several layers. The snow / sleet stopped later and we checked out the ruined church, graveyard, and waterfront.
