High tide

Today we had lunch at the Oyster House, which is at the marina in downtown Olympia, WA. Olympia is located at the far south end of Puget Sound and is the state capital. When we arrived at the restaurant we noted the high tide, higher than we'd seen it. We thought it might be a 'king tide', but our waiter said it was just a normal high tide. He said a recent king tide had risen over the marina walkways and reached to just below the boardwalk above the marina. I hope to see a king tide there sometime so I can blip it.
