Dougie Boulder

Waded in to the Douglas Boulder on Ben Nevis’ North Face to climb its South West Ridge. As it’s probably one of the few ‘safe’ routes with today’s avalanche conditions it was busy and party 1 were slooooooow! Gave up and waded out. That’s Scottish winter climbing for you.

PS: how the hell it can be referred to as a ‘boulder’ when the shortest route on it is 180m long?!
