A bright day followed by a showery afternoon.

We did manage a circular walk this morning. 3 miles altogether with a coffee halfway!
Then a friend from French Book Club, (and she is also at the French Conversation group) took myself and Stephen, along with another couple, out to lunch.
It was, she said, as a Thankyou for the time she had come home from hospital having had a hip replacement.
We had taken some meals and the other couple had collected her to take her home when she was discharged.
She lives on her own in a ground floor flat. A very lively outgoing person.
I took the photo from the restaurant. It overlooks a pool in Sutton Park.
This evening our other friend come to tea straight from work as usual.
It’s chilly outside and people keep mentioning snow!
No sign of it here but evidently further North today.
