Fiona turns 10!

She was a baby when I started blipping.  Oh my they grow so fast.   Her birthday is tomorrow actually but today was “our” day…so we had special buche de noel which she loves, after some presents,( a book, a stuffy, socks, and 10 photo bookmarks, the card will be my other journal (https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2669088661454193837    She points out the same t shirt and sleep mask!).) and then she chose pancakes for early dinner…made special ones for us ..this is a “cake with candle”. We had forgotten to put candles in the cake:-(  so did it in the hot pancakes!  (never thinking that the wax would melt)  A fine party. We also read some and worked on her book that we will print.   We took her home early so we could make Nik's Bball game at Garfield HS, his Dad’s alma mater.   The gym is new since we spent so many hours there in the 80s.  the team is still really good, but I couldn’t resist one pix from the hallway of the state champs in 86 and also 87 (extra..you can maybe pick out Eric!..hard to get a photo without glare...)   It’s frustrating for him to watch Nik’s team struggle but improve …….but there could not be more supportive parents than those two (2nd extra) and it was fun to be there.  And had to add one of Nik and the team.    Enuf for one day.
