At one time, not that long ago, if you had a cardiac arrest in a public place in Scotland there was a 1 in 20 chance that you would be alive after 30 days. Now it is 1 in 10. Your chances of survival has doubled.
There are many reasons for that improvement. One is the no of folk in the community who have had CPR training. There is a target of 500,000 to receive training. After our training tonight, we are 2 closer.
