Broccoli trees

As Murphy doesn’t have to be quarantined any more the lady that normally walks him and Willis came round this morning to see if he was up for a walk. She opened the front door and he raced out. He’s still on medication, still on chicken and rice and sleeping most of the time so not 100%.

My daughter had an appointment at the opticians but as she’s still recovering from the operation on her neck she can’t drive. So I took her. I sat looking out of the window in the cafe at the sky where we used to watch the starling murmurations until they chopped down their roosting tree. The starlings didn’t appear.

As we had rather a lot of broccoli in the fridge we had to have something and it for dinner. We had it roasted with salmon. It was yummy.
