Winter Compost!

Back to dark skies on an unusually mild, blustery day of 12 degrees. And time to say a final farewell to the Christmas tree which has gone off to be composted. Having said that, the tree trunk is still in the garden. By the time I’d lopped off all the branches, there wasn’t any room in the garden waste bin for the trunk. I wonder if I’ll be able to squeeze yet another blip out of my Christmas tree?!
