I hope it is never necessary to hoover, brush and mop the loft ever again. I don't mind giving the floor the odd sweep every now and then but ridding the floor, rafters, trusses and anything else with any sort of surface on which the tiny wee fibrous particles of stray insulation could cling was unpleasant. Hopefully, with the tile-cutting having taken place without any visible large-scale particulate mess-risk, that should be the worst of the messy bit over. The next expected enormous fun task will be shuffling everything in the bedrooms between the two of them in however long it takes carpet-fitters to have a cup of tea in between rooms.
