Post-Pigeon

Out walking after a fresh snowfall this morning, I found a set of tracks. Clearly made by a bird, almost certainly a pigeon from the size and pattern, they wound along a wall from the High Road, doubling back and investigating every cranny for possible food before eventuality setting off across the road to try their luck on the opposite side.

Partly prompted by this, I re-fixed the bird feeder that sits on my front window, and bought another one for the washing line in the back garden, so the birds have a bit more food in this harsh weather.
