Far from the Maddening Crowds ...

... of ski Sunday. However if you look large you might see ski lifts laden with skiers in the bottom right and left of the picture. Today was a present, the forecast had been awful but at 11am I spotted a handkerchief of blue sky so G. and I set off to find it. And we did, with spectacular views of the Tour de Mayen (left) and the Famelon (right) thrown in. This was not going to last for long, the high clouds were scudding across the blue background very quickly (by the way the Swiss call these clouds"les moutons" - sheep, and you can see why I think).

For those of you who like off-piste skiing this is a lovely area to escape the crowds, above the Piere de Moellé. I hope you have had a great weekend.
